Our vibrant culture and heritage is often showcased during the holiday season and visitors can expect to enjoy traditional music and dance at many of our restaurants and tavernas.
Many restaurants are able to provide for specialised dietary requirements and have a variety of options for vegetarian or vegan diners. Please feel free to ask your waiter for more information.
From traditional Greek tavernas to more modern dining experiences, Skopelos can provide something for every palate.

Whether you want to relax with a coffee and enjoy the summer breeze or dance the night away and indulge in a cocktail or two, Skopelos has plenty to offer.
Many of our beaches include beach bars/ cafes with servers who will bring snacks and drinks straight to your beach lounger. We ask all our visitors to drink responsibly and respect the residents of the island while enjoying the vibrant Skopelos lifestyle.
Our ports are lined with cafes which can cater to couples, families or large groups who wish to sit in the shade and enjoy the beautiful harbour views. We also have a large number of clubs and bars that open late into the night and provide a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.

Self-Catering Options

Many of our visitors prefer to provide their own meals and enjoy their chosen rental accomodation in privacy and Skopelos has plenty of options for those who wish to self-cater.
Apart from the large supermarkets available in and around Skopelos Town (Chora), there are many small grocery stores, butchers and fishmongers available to shoppers.
Visitors can also find independent vendors of many local products such as cheese, honey and vegetables by asking at local restaurants and cafes for contacts.

Fresh fish is also available straight from the fishermen who moor their boats in the main ports of Skopelos Island (just be ready to get their early!).

Muses restaurant and grill house has been providing high quality dining for both visitors and residents of Skopelos for over 10 years. Tsipouradiko O Tasos is a favourite destination for both visitors and residents alike. This family run traditional taverna offers a wide range of beautifully presented and delicious local recipes.
